Hey Spirit Scholars!
It’s Mental Mojo Monday and it’s time to get our mind right to set ourselves up for a week we can reflect upon and smile. I’m going to give you 3 lead ins that can help guide you to accomplish just that by weeks end!
First, think of one MAIN GOAL — You want to accomplish each day (no more than 3 if you are new to this). Write that goal down and set a time when you know you will be able to do it. It’s best to do this the night before the goal you want to accomplish but at least do it first thing in the morning.
Second, make time for SELF CARE — There are many different routes to take in self care but this week, I am going to recommend practicing 5 minutes of PRESENCE! Set a time where you can do it and when the time comes set a timer for 5 minutes and just be fully present. The wonderful thing about this is that you do not have to even be still. You can be vacuuming your floor but the key is make your mind COMPLETELY focus on VACUUMING ONLY! If your mind wanders bring it back. You can also do this lying down, but focus on REST ONLY. You can do this during exercise! Think about each muses you are working on ONLY and appreciate the wonder of its functioning in your body. You get the picture.
Lastly, Remember the Spirit — Determine how you choose to nurture your spirituality, and devote time to it regularly. Doing so will make you feel grounded.
