Wordy Wednesday!

Hey Spirit Scholars!

So glad to be blogging today! I’m “supposed to be doing street photography today because of the inspiration I had to do so and therefore said I would do. Problem is I live in the boring suburbs! Lol!

Now I wouldn’t not trade suburban living for anything only maybe add a bit more space between the houses and gated lots like the ones we had in NY, but there is NOT a lot happening in the suburbs which explains why most of my photography up to this point has been landscape! LOL!

Come to think of it most of my life is suburban. I’m hardly ever in the city and I guess in my mind street photography should have at least a bit of grit!

So, I do not know what I am going to do about this little photography quagmire. Do I take time to visit the city to shoot? Do I find suburban grit? Do I go back to landscape or do I just snap whatever moves me without category?

Let me know what you think in the comments. It will be helpful I’m sure 😊

Peace and Blessings,

Shona

  1. I think you should do a little bit of all four. Visit the city to capture what you know and love. Then, explore the suburbs and get creative. Find that grit you’re looking for, or maybe you’ll discover something different. Capture it all. Landscape will come into play I’m sure. I love landscape photos, so I definitely think you should capture some amazing moments in this category. And, of course, you should pick your camera up and capture whenever and whatever your mood or inspiration calls for. Have fun! I can’t wait to see your captures! πŸ™‚
